Tecno Camon 20 is an exclusive, in a class by itself released under BDT 20,000. It’s one of the first phones to come with a very distinctive, style and premium kind of design at a low-budget like this. The texture of the back panel looks very attractive and stands out pretty well. The blue color has a leathery feel to it, whereas the black one offers a glossy finish. You shouldn’t have any scratch or visible fingerprint issue with it. It adds to the durability and its outlook for day-to-day usage. The front side has a center punch-hole symmetrical screen with a flat and clear bottom part, no inconvenient bezel. It gets a high mark in terms of design. There is IP53 rated dust and splash protection as well. A 6.67-inch Full HD+ AMOLED always-on screen with Widevine L1 is supplied here and it should satisfy your media consumption needs. We especially appreciate the use of an AMOLED panel instead of a lower IPS LCD panel. The cameras are one of its key highlights. We got a Quad-Ring flash for the 64 MP f/1.7 aperture primary camera on the backside. The 32 MP selfie capturer occurs with Micro-slit dual-flash. So, these are kind cameras for low-light or night environments. We have seen samples of daylight shots as well and both cameras are worthy of admiration and offer a good monetary value. The video recording capacity is standard 1080p@30fps. There isn’t any EIS/stabilization. Battery and charging are up to the mark with 5000 mAh size and a 33W charger. We got a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset and you could expect the slightly better Helio 88 or even the superior Helio G99 for this price. But we’d say it’s still fair considering all other features. Besides that, there is 8 GB RAM with a fine overall optimization. So, gaming or everyday usage should have absence of any lag issues from what we have seen from hands-on reviews. A stunning and surprising feature is the in-display fingerprint sensor which is very rare to find in under 20K budget phones. There are also stereo speakers for excellent sound quality.
