Vivo V29e is a high-mid range priced smartphone. There are two different versions of it. One is Bangladeshi, and another one is Indian. They are very distant from each other. This one is the Bangladesh version. It features a 6.67″ FHD+ AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate. No low brightness issue here under sunlight with 1150 nits high peak brightness. The bezels are very thin and symmetrical, which are elegant and practical. It has IP54 dust and splash resistant. The body is made of plastic with a kind of matt finish which looks premium and does not attract fingerprints.
The cameras are its central highlight. The Ring-Light feature on the back provides two different added tone possibilities and they are cool (whitish) and warm (yellowish) tones. This can dramatically improve low-light photography. In addition to that, there is also LED flash for the 64 MP main and 8 MP ultrawide lens so, this is a whole new scope of photo shooting. There is also a dedicated night mode which works pretty neat and has plenty of other features such as micro mode, super moon, slow-mo., time lapse, dual view and so on. The primary camera has reasonably stable video recording capability. The 50 MP selfie camera can produce impressive results as well. It is a fully camera centric device.
It takes around 45 minutes to fully charge the 4800 mAh battery via the 44W fast charger. You can expect a long backup (up to 2 days for regular usage, 7 hours SoT for high usage). Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G (6 nm) is not particularly a gaming chipset, but it is stable and efficient and you get the 5G support. Moreover, you’ll get 8 GB RAM with an extra 8 GB virtual RAM possibility. Its AnTuTu (v9) score is 405943. Multitasking should be smooth with Vivo’s latest Funtouch OS 13 UI on top of Android 13. There is no external memory card slot or 3.5mm jack.
