Vivo Y17s caught a fair amount of recognition from the shoppers. This is because Vivo is one of the top smartphone brands of Bangladesh and there is a strong demand for mobile phones for this budget. It looks stylish with the glitter purple and forest green colors. Then we have a gentle, shiny look with a matt type texture. Even though it’s just a plain plastic body, it’s appealing. The front part, however, comes with a regular waterdrop notch. There is no screen protection, but it’s IP54 rated dust and splash resistant.

The screen is just HD+ with 60Hz refresh rate. You’ll get a lot of phones with Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The color tone of the display is still pretty impressive, which may make you consider it. The same goes for the 50 MP primary camera and the 8 MP selfie taker. Both these cams can produce vivid colors with suitable details. They are not the best, but still among the better ones for this cost. The video section has no EIS or any sort of stabilization and can record up to 1080p quality.

In the box, you’ll receive a 15W charger. It takes about one and a half hours to fully charge the 5000 mAh battery and you can expect between one and one and half day backup for standard usage. Its Helio G85 chipset is competent for gaming, especially with 6 GB RAM. But the AnTuTu score is just 188395, which tells that it’s not any hardcore gamer’s device. But overall still satisfactory. Vivo Y17s runs on Android 13 and has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It has all the necessary sensors, including a virtual gyroscope sensor and E-compass.
